San Diego County Fair

We have lived in Southern CA for over 4 years and this year we finally made it to the fair. I have some great childhood memories of going to the CA state fair in Sacramento so it was only appropriate we brought Camryn. We were lucky enough to catch both of Ryan's parents home at the same time (doesn't happen very often!) so Camryn was spoiled by her grandparents.
Waiting for our yummy fair food-we decided to be a little more healthy than the fried butter they were serving and went for the BBQ pulled pork and fries.
Checking out one of MANY goats. I think we spent an hour just looking at different goats. Who knew they had goats with no ear? I didn't and I'm not sure I wanted to.

But Camryn loved the goats. She was scared at first but then we found hay to feed them and she was loving it! She still talks about the goats fighting and the way the eat.
Weird looking Llama. Apacpa? He won 1st place.
Watching the pig races. Again not sure about them but learned to love it. They even had a diving pig. So cute.
I had to get a picture of this. This is how we were all day. We forgot the stroller so Camryn walked the entire fair and all eyes were on her.
Camryn is obsessed with horses or as she calls them Neigh-neigh-but she wouldn't do the pony ride so this was second best.
And the fair wouldn't be complete without a good treat-Camryn's first soft serve. She thought it was so fun to lick and I thought it was great to have someone to share with. Let's just say the fair is way more fun with this little one!

I grew up going to the Sac State Fair too. It looks like you had so much fun, makes me want to go! Camryn is getting bigger and bigger! She is so adorable. I swear I wake up every morning, take one look at Brielle and think did you really grow again last night while you were sleeping?? Our girls need to meet up again! Hopefully I can see you guys when you come to Utah this week

I'm glad you had fun at the fair - I love going for some reason even though most of the time it is dirty and smelly. Camryn is a sweet no-stroller girl. P.S. Like your shirt! I tried it on but it was not cute on me like it is on you!!

Looks like a lot of fun! No stomach-churning fair rides for the big kids though?

She is getting so big, you guys need to come to texas and hang because I think cam and tessa would have soo much fun playing together. Bummer we are missing you guys in Vegas. Boo. If you want to go to a "real" fair, try the Eastern Idaho State Fair.

I miss the Del Mar Fair! Or I guess they call it the San Diego Fair now... whatever. I can't believe how long Camryn went before having a soft serve cone! Way to be strong. We gave that up a while ago, but have stayed clear away from soda.

Camryn is so lucky that you're willing to spend time in the animal areas. It's kind of smelly! But more fun for the kids, right?

I'm so glad you had fun at the fair and that Camryn liked it and did well especially without a stroller (that would've spelled disaster for Emma). I like you shirt too, it is similar to the one Camryn is wearing... too cute.
