Christmas in Park City

We had a blast in Utah for Christmas. We stayed at Ryan's parents new townhouse (2 doors down from my brother Chris' place) right in Park City for 10 days! It was so nice having the family all together for the first time for Christmas since Ryan and I have been married. While we were there we saw lots of family and friends and enjoyed a TON of snow. We loved having a White Christmas and Camryn learned how to sleep through the night! It was fantastic! Here are the many pictures we took!

The Smart Family

Bundled up for our outing on Main Street

This was probably my favorite part of our trip. Shopping, snow and carmel apples...a perfect Christmas!
It was so fun seeing Ryan's family with the baby since this is their first Grandchild and niece. I love how involved and helpful they all were!

Greg loving his neice

Camryn loving her Uncle Jake

We got a ton of fun things tickets to see Crique de Soleil, Southwest gift cards and a video camera...more videos to come! Merry Christmas and thanks for everyones gifts and making an effort to hang out!

We drove home early the day after Christmas to go to Nichelle's wedding

We were so glad we could go and she looked so happy and beautiful! Congrats! The backyard was Ryan and I's dream...one day!

She has gotten so mature and so smiley, but I loved this serious face! We also were able to have my parents visit for a day on their way back to Sacramento from Arizona. It was awesome having them stop by even though it was a short trip. Now it is back to the grind and we will see if Camryn keeps this sleeping thing up, but we will enjoy it while it lasts!

Utah Snow Bunny

This is just a little teaser of the many pictures Brenda and I have taken in Utah. This was her first outing while it was snowing like crazy! It was snowing SO hard and we just bundled her up and boy did she love it! She was asleep in an instant and stayed asleep for over 2 hours. Since we have been here Camryn has turned into a completely different baby...and one that we love even more! We aren't sure if it is Utah or if she is just maturing. Whatever it is...she is sleeping through the night and not just one night out of the blue but 4 nights in a row! And she is SO much better in the evening hours. Let's just say that our 10 week old baby is growing up to be a good little baby! (Knock on wood!)

Blessing Day and Weekend with The Fam

Although we had jst been with our famiy the week before, we were able to get together again for Camryn's blessing! And it gave a great excuse for my oldest sister Nikki (who was sick for Thanksgiving) and her fam to come visit and be with all the cousins. It was a full house...8 adults, 5 kids and 2 babies. We were able to do a lot of things in less than 48 hours.
The 5 boys showing their muscles after feeding the animals at De Jongs Farm. Amazing chocolate milk!

Then next we headed to the park next to Lake Elsinore so the kids could play around. Me, Mom and Nikki. And Carter just finished peeing in the background gotta love that! Who thinks Nikki and I are twins?

Then we took the kids to a Children's Muesuem. I had looked it up hoping it was cool and luckily it did not let us down! This was in the glow in the dark room with highlighter on the kids arms. They loved it. We topped off the day with pizza and walking around Old Town Temecula. Very fun day!

Then it was the big day. This is Cam right before church...she was all smiles! My mom bought the dress for her...I was obsessed with it! Real raw silk!

The Smart Family minus Ryan's other two brothers and sister-in-law who couldn't make it

The Motley Family...and this is just half. Thanks Nugget for making an appearance.

Camryn was an angel through the blessing and all the pictures. We had such a fun day with a luncheon and visiting with everyone. A big thanks for all our friends and family that made the great effort to come for Camryn's big day.

Thanksgiving Week

I was able to go up to Sacramento early with Camryn. I found a cheap flight and so she was able to have her first flying experience. She is a spoiled little one. The family that could make it threw a party for my Grandma Motley's 80th birthday.

My mom, Grandma Motley, Me, Camryn and my sister Amy (31 weeks-due mid Jan.-does not look it!)

I had some great one on one time with my mom since my oldest sister Nikki was too sick to come up with her fam (not fun...but nice to have the attention). Camryn was able to get some new clothes since she had nothing that was suitable for cold weather. We are spoiled Southern Californians what can I say? Although it was nice to have it finally feel like the holidays.

It was awesome getting to hang out with the fam. We visited the Railroad Museum with 4 of my adorable nephews.
Ryan, Owen and Sean
Who does this?!

We left all 6 grandkids with the grandparents so us parents could go have lunch and see a movie together. No not Twilght even though that was my choice. We actually split up and some saw the James Bond and the rest Four Christmases. I can't believe my parents survived all those kids!

Giving the Prego a pedi. This was the one thing I wanted someone to do for me when I was pregnant and I think she appreciated it too!

My brother Chris, SIL Lindsay, Dad, BIL Mike, Amy and Ryan doing last minute preparations for an amazing dinner!

The day after Thanksgiving we went up to Apple Hill as we have since I was little. It was fun showing Ryan this part of Northern CA. We came to help my brother's fam pick out a tree as we did for many years. After we shared an apple fritter and watched the kids run at the park.

It was such a great visit with everyone!!!

Let's just say Camryn didn't know what to do when we came home and no one was there to hold her.

SMILEY GIRL

While I wait for all the pictures of our Thanksgiving vacation......here is our smiley girl! She is smiling all the time now and is making it very fun to take pictures! I can't believe it has been 7 weeks today!

And eventhough she is not smiling in this one Ryan made me put it on here. She got this outfit from Grandma Motley...boy do we love it!
This is a little video of her smiling and cooing...(mainly for the grandparents) ENJOY!!
