Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was so fun this year. We started very early on making crafts and valentines for cousins. Camryn loves to make things for other people and loves love. So this was right up her alley this year.
Night before the big day she wrote her friend's names and her own on her special Valentine's with my favorites See's hearts. Can't believe I shared them with 3 and 4 year olds. Camryn has gotten so good at writing and now when she writes cards I just spell it for her and she writes it.

Love/hate with Sugar Cookies. These however were so tasty! I think the sour cream and lemon make them so soft and good. We made some to have, give and use for preschool the next day.

Valentines morning we woke up to Daddy surprises. He knows how to spoil us. I got a nice card and flowers, Reagan a new outfit and Camryn a new book and treats.
I made heart sweet potato pancakes.

Camryn topped it with red sprinkles.
Then we had a preschool party at our house. All of the kids passed out their Valentine's to their envelope they made at the last Preschool day.
We frosted cookies.
Did lots of kissing and hugging. Manly Camryn-she can't help it-such a lover. Made Valentines for the moms.
Played "Don't Eat Pete" by covering the Valentine's monsters with Conversation hearts over and over.

Then had a dance party-no party is complete without dancing. They wanted to jump on the couch so I pulled out this mattress and they were in heaven.
Then we met Ryan for lunch at Muss & Turner. So fun to meet up since we rarely do. Love these girls outfits.
And I love this guy of mine.
Then we stopped to get our nails done. My mom was so cute and sent Camryn her own gift card to treat she and Reagan to a manicure. She loved the whole experience. Reagan on the other hand was too scared to have some stranger touch her hand and sit still for them. So I painted hers while we waited for Camryn.
Then we hit up the park before going home. This girl sure is agile. She can get through this park and down slides so unlike her sister. I love watching how much fun she has.

After dinner and a bath the girls got a surprise doorbell ditch. They were pretty happy to say the least with all the fun that day.
This really was one of my favorite holidays we have had in a long time. It is so fun with girls and especially Camryn who got so into this year. Until next year St Valentine...
