Settling In

This is just a random post of what went on the week before Easter. 

Tried sponge rollers in Camryn's hair. Best picture I could get but it turned out so cute and were only in for a few hours.

We did an Easter craft everyday to get ready for the big day. And yes, she is going through a naked/jamies phase-so she looks a little white trash, guess this is normal?

FHE-we learned about what the different color jelly beans stand for. All after the really meaning of Easter.

Then made a bracelet-obsessed but did save it for a whole day before eating it.

This little one is getting good at moving but not so much with her sense of direction.

Day 2 craft

Day 3-Felt Easter egg that she could keep playing with and changing the pattern.

Day 4

Day 5-her all time favorite. She did this almost all on her own. And she knew exactly what to do since she watches cake making tutorials daily on you tube. It turned out so cute and she was so proud.

And Reagan was so proud that she could pick food up with her hands that now this is the only way she wants to eat. Isn't this what 1 year olds do? Not 7 month olds.

Day 6-kids love doing this and they look so cute but the hard boiled eggs never turn out and get so messy when they are hidden outside-so they end up in the trash. 

Another project we did this week. This organizer makes me so happy. Now all her small toys have their own space. Let's just hope it stays like this.

And a project for me! So happy with the way they turned out. I just need a little more color in the kitchen and didn't want to have to paint all the barstools. I love a project that is $5 and an hour to do.

First Visitors!

I was so happy that our friends Scott and Kirby and their cute little boy Beckett could come out to visit! They live in Charlotte and will be moving to SF in a few weeks so are timing had to work out. And we are so glad it did. It was awesome taking a break from settling in and doing projects to get out and explore. 

Old Town Roswell has the coolest shops, restaurants  and atmosphere. Here we ate that the Fickle Pickle-most unique sandwiches and so so good! Fried Green Tomato sandwich and fried pickles. Doesn't get more Southern than that.

Oli + Ve was this olive oil tasting store. So fun to try a million different yummy flavors and vinegars.

Trying Raspberry balsamic vinegar on ice cream...who knew?

Next we drove down to Piedmont Park-which is like the Central Park of Atlanta. We saw just a sliver of it which was real nice-we'll have to find out the best spots to go though.

Getting back at him and being the aggressor. So funny to watch them interact on their own.

Would be totally fine if she went after this older man. Beckett is so sweet and so cute!

The boys testing our new 3D TV. Big day for us the have tv let alone 3D!!! We tried to get conference in 3D, but had to resort to just HD.

This same weekend Reagan figured out how to scoot. Look that that body! I need to post the video.

The Boys

The Girls-Camryn loved Kirby, but by the end of the weekend I don't know if Kirby loved Camryn. If treat her like an adult she is putty in your hands.  We had such a good time with these guys! Cant wait until they move back so we can visit them in 6 months!

Our New Home

We made the move! Here is our new house! We absolutely love it and are so happy we found it in a great area.

This is our lake at the end of our street. More like a pond but still pretty and a great place to feed the ducks.

Ryan took this picture on his phone the day we moved in. I loved getting to see it blossom, looked like snow placed perfectly on the tree. I am sad they only last about a week.

The view from our master bedroom. This old shack in the back is the coolest, it makes me happy.

Picnic in our backyard-so excited to have a backyard again and so is Camryn!

The neighborhood next to us has this nature trail and so we went exploring our first Sunday. There are a lot of fun things to do around our house. Week one, so far so good!

Travels

Off to Georgia!

Camryn made sure she packed her essentials. Never thought we'd have to be ok with this kind of stuff.

 Nugget's new low. Stuffed in a bag while his sedatives had no chance of kicking in because of his anxiety.

 The SmarteCarte saved us. Don't worry that Camryn is still holding a bag, I am holding Reagan, Nugget and two bags. Not an easy day. 

 Luckily the girls did great. Especially this little peach. Having a layover was a perfect break.

On the train to baggage claim...we made it!

Goodbyes

 Greg and Lindsey came back in town our last weekend in San Diego. I love any chance to have her do my hair.

Us girls were able to spend a whole Saturday together shopping, planning craft projects and even got Cafe Rio for one last time.

Sure going to miss these two, it has been so nice seeing them so much from Arizona.

 Can't even express how much we have loved staying here and having some extra time with Ryan's parents. Especially for Camryn and her love for her Grandma Brenda and Papa. At least we get to see Brenda in a month but it is a big change from the every week or so.

Board n Brew. Best sandwiches ever. We are sure to have withdrawals. And we need to find these Turbos for Ryan in GA, otherwise we may have serious problems.

 Urban Plate with the Foulgers, too bad we couldn't get a picture together. Camryn was at her finest:) so that didn't happen.

She was hungry too, but distracted by dad driving and soda cups. Cutest upside down face. 

 Lauren met up with us to say our last goodbye while we ate. Going to miss this sweet family that we got so close to, they are living the dream in Carlsbad. Hopefully we'll make it back to visit soon.

 Then Amy and Mike had us over for yummy dinner and the cousins got to play. We don't know what we are going to do without cousins and my sister to play and rely on.

 These two get a kick out of each other. Owen is so sweet to all these girls.

 This is more like it. I have absolutely loved being to close to Amy. Crafting, watching each other kids and just spending time together. One amazing sister, wish we could always live near by! We had such a good 3 weeks in San Diego! Now it is off to Georgia!

Reagan 7 Months

Yes we moved! And we are enjoying the nice weather and settling into things. But for now while I get the other pictures ready here is Reagan at 7 Months.

 She is such a cute baby. Reagan got her two bottom teeth this month and wasn't bothered by them...thankfully! She is still very independent and so sweet but is now on the move. Lunging for everything in sight and starting to scoot on her tummy. She gets into the pike position and propels herself forward. After eating baby food for about a month now she wants to eat toddler food. Pretty much anything she can feed herself without help, she loves. Camryn is still the one to get her to laugh harder then anyone else and always loves to be around her. Wish I could say the same for Camryn. Still struggles, but definitely better than it has been. So happy this little Reagie is in our little family.
