I feel like these Halloween posts can get a little redundant because everyone has one, but I want to document this year just like the rest of you! So here it goes...
David (Ryan's Dad) had Camryn and I come up to his work on Friday afternoon for trick or treating around the office. He works for Mattel so it was so fun for Camryn to get to see all the toys (mainly Barbie-whom she loves) and the whole office decked out for Halloween. We just so happened to stop by the right office (David's boss) and got hooked up with a fairy barbie and polly pockets galore. Everyone kept asking where they were giving those out...oops! She scored big time!
Later that night she got to dress up again for our ward's Trunk or Treat. It was so fun doing her hair and putting on jewels. Makes me excited for the years to come.
As you can see, she loved it!
Candy eating already beginning here...
I was so happy with the way her costume turned out. My amazingly crafty mom made the dress and I added the rhinestones and flowers to it. And the best part of it all is that she actually wanted to wear it! Unlike the horse costume she "thought" she wanted to wear.
Trunk or Treating
For a while she would go up and say Trick or Treat all by herself until she found a candy that she wanted to eat more than go back for more, that is when we had to step in.
Saturday night we got to have Cafe Rio with the Foulgers and then Ryan's parents took Camryn home and we hit up The Empty Grave Haunted House in Anahiem.
This picture is ridiculous! I was laughing so hard because he totally scared me right when the picture was taken...of course. He was so creepy looking. Lauren, however, does not look amused. It was a really fun night out just too bad the haunted house only lasted 10 min! What a rip when you are used to the ones in Utah.
Then it was Sunday-Halloween. Such a cute smile in this picture...I love it! We were a little torn as to go out or not it being Sunday and all. But with Ryan's parents in town we figured we would all go as a family and meet the neighbors.
Doing her own knocking-Holidays are so fun when you have kids that get into it!
This house was awesome! Camryn was scared but we loved it!
She got so much candy from all three outings! What a spoiled girl. Thanks mom for the costume and thanks David and Brenda for coming up and spending the day with us, it was so fun for us and epecially Camryn!

I like you went out on Sunday. We might've done that as well! We figured we were having family time and taking a little walk! Am I rationalizing? Her costume turned out great - go Mom! And love her hair and jewels - the opposite of Carter that wouldn't let me slick his hair or do his face white for his vampire!
Glad you blogged about your Halloween. Who cares if everyone does it anyway, it's all for your family to remember later on! And I love seeing everyone's costumes. Camryn looks beautiful in her dress and wings! She is such a girly girl! And she totally scored with the candy! Halloween is for sure more fun when you have kids
You think you had a great time at David's office? David was the one thrilled to show off his granddaughter. Thanks for letting us share in all the fun.
It all turned out so cute! I love the jewels in her skirt and how the wings made it all look so fairy like. Camryn looks too patient while you put on her make-up. Are you sure she's two?
oh my gosh, could she get any prettier? i usually think little girls are cute and not gorgeous, but she is seriously a beautiful little doll!
Oh my I love that costume!! I'm having trouble seeing the six yard of fabric though. Glad she had fun and wanted to get all dolled up.
Pretty sure that was the world's shortest haunted house... At least they made us scream on numerous occasions. As always, such a treat to hang out. Love you guys. Next time tell Cam not to freeeaaakkk out when looloomike come to play:)
you have the prettiest little fairy ever!
Why is Ryan's face to round in picture #6?
