Okay this suit you have pictured is seriously cute! I have mixed feelings about them only because I've seen some really tacky ones. There was this girl in Hawaii that had a white Ed Hardy one and it was so icky. I say go for it if you've got the bod. I would worry about my sides.
What's up with you not commenting on my new post? :(
I like this one, but I hate the ones that just have a little strip down the middle! Its like if you lean over it would get all bunchy, and would be such a weird tan line!
Um, yea...I had no idea what that word meant either...so I googled it...then clicked on the Wikipedia link explanation...oh my...scary...originally a monokini was just bottoms and a term to describe topless bathing suits. The more modern version is described several paragraphs down. Funny. So then I looked at images on google...and this example you have here is by far the best! And after looking at examples I realized I just didn't know the term, but am familiar with the type. There are lots that are gross, but this is acceptable if you're in the market.
The one posted is really cute! I like how it's wider down the middle then some of the others I've seen. I think it TOTALLY depends on your body type. I've seen some really gross ones on gross bodies. Are you going to get one? You could pull it off. Where did you see this picture? I'm in the market for a new suit too.
This one is very cute, but I am not sure that it completely qualifies. This one is a very modest monokini but I have just been so torn as to if I like them or not! I am interested in them but I think I would have to try them on before buying one. I agree that the ones with a skinny piece of material down the middle would be a weird tan line but then I see them on Victoria's Secret models and they look so good! Probably because of their bodies though and not the swimsuits themselves.
I can't believe you googled it Carrie! You are so awesome! I am glad I could bring some food for thought and teach something new. Just don't laugh at me when you see me wearing one this summer!
i agree with brittany about the tan lines. this is the first one that i have liked though cause most are cut all the way around to the front and they look like something paris hilton would wear! i couldnt wear them because my fat would hang out the sides and be too aparent!

Should I be embarrassed that this is the first time I've heard of one?
I need to leave the house more often.
