Reagan-4 Months

On Christmas Eve this little dream baby turned 4 Months. She has turned into one the sweetest happiest babies I've known. She rolled over a few weeks ago and has started babbling mama when she cries. She also plays with toys now and will laugh but you still have to work real hard at it. Let's just say she is already wrapped around my finger and doesn't seem like I could love her more than I do right now.

Our 1st Nutcracker

I couldn't wait for the day when I could go to the Nutcracker with Camryn. It feels like I am sharing something with her that is so special to me and Ryan will never understand that. I am just so happy that I have daughters that I can take with me every year for a mommy date. I wasn't sure Camryn was ready to sit through it this year but after hearing her dance teacher was going to perform in one and happened to only be 1 act and 1 hour long I knew it was perfect.
All dressed up. She insisted on a this new church dress and bracelets from Grandma Brenda and a bun. She sat so still the whole show and loved watching for her teacher.
With her teacher-Ms. Michelle. She was the lead Marzipan.
She is obsessed with her teacher and was mesmerized by seeing her on stage. It was a very small production just put on by students so Michelle guests for a few of the shows. Afterward, Camryn wouldn't leave until we met every single girl we could.
The Rose
The Sugar Plum Fairy
Spainish Rose
Arabian
And mine and Camryn's favorite-Clara. Everyone loved having their picture taken and was so nice with  her but this little Clara was over the top. She just kept hugging Camryn and daunting over her. Made Camryn love the ballet even more. So glad she loved it as much as I do and that I will always have a buddy to go with me, that is until she is in it. That is when Ryan said he will come see it. So I will keep my fingers crossed for that day!

Visiting Santa

This year was completely opposite from our past 2 years. Camryn walked straight up to Santa and sat on his lap. She told him she wanted candy and a Barbie suitcase. She also made sure she smiled the entire time with him as she was "being nice, not naughty." She knows how to play the part. I do love though that she is staring to understand the magic of Christmas. And I absolutely love babies with Santa because they have no idea what is going on. Love these sweet faces.

Christmas at Our House

It is starting to really feel like Christmas. We got our tree up and our elf Ellie came to visit the first week in December. After a few simple crafts I am feeling the spirit of Christmas now more then ever with a little believer in our house. It makes christmas so fun. I go back and forth on how I feel about "lying" to my kids, but I just can't get over the magic that I once felt. So the tradition continues in our home. We are excited about our new elf and think this will be such a fun tradition for years to come.
Ellie the first morning she visited us. And brought her book and ornaments for the girls.
I love our tree this year. I added a garland and a new tree skirt that I will post about on my twigg blog and they both just make it that much more complete. Even though we did go for just an inexpensive tree rather than a looker. But I like it for that character. I just love this time of year and guaranteed I will write more posts just like these. Sorry, you don't have to read if you don't want to.

Camryn

This little one has been driving me crazy these days. She hit 3 and became a different child over night. I never knew I could get so mad! To the point where I have found myself locked in the bathroom with the baby in order to keep me from doing something I would regret. Being a mom is not easy. It was easy for quite some time with just Camryn, but now with 2 kids and 1 not behaving-I truly understand how motherhood is the hardest job! But through this I just have to relish in the good times.
This was one. She puts on her Snow White Costume and asks if Ryan and I will "come meet her" like the princesses at Disneyland do. And we talk to her, "sit on her lap", give hugs and kisses and takes a picture. But this time she added signing autographs. I have never talked to her about this, she must have seen other kids doing this the last time we were there. She got out her princess notebook and pencil and pretends to sign Snow White and hands it back to us. I will never get over this little girls ability to pretend and the way she puts things together like she is much older then see is. I just have to know that my sweet daughter is still there, but sometimes I just have to dig to find her.
