A Smart Thanksgiving

This year was Thanksgiving in San Diego with the Smart's. So since Ryan got off a little early on Wednesday to Disneyland. This was by far the most fun we have had together at Disneyland-let's just say it is not Ryan's most favorite place on earth. So thankful for this handsome hubby of mine and this adorable little daugther.
It was so nice not having to travel this year and still got to see all of Ryan's side of the fam. Even Jake made it who surprised us all Thursday morning. I have never seen Brenda so surprised and happy-closely related to the time we told her we were pregnant with Camryn.

Since our niece was going to be there this year Brenda made a "kid's table." I was so excited about the idea that I had Camryn make a tablecloth of hand turkeys-which I later added beaks and legs.
I had seen a idea for turkey cups on my beloved Pinterest but modified it with felt I already laying around the house.
Sadly, Cassidy slept through most of dinner but, this girl loved her table. Either that or the sparkling apple cider.
We don't look very happy here but I swear we all had a good time. We even got to have our close friends Lauren, Mike & baby Liam for dinner. Couldn't have asked for a better group and great conversation.
After dinner S'more's for the granddaughters that we all ended up joining.
This little Cassidy is so cute. It was fun getting to know her personality better. Let's just say she is the exact of Camryn in every way but they got along great.

Camryn with her favorite Uncle Jaker as she calls him or sometimes Uncle Waker. She adores being around family so much.
The next day everyone from out of town wanted to head to the beach, so very unprepared we headed down as well. Glad we went cause we ended up seeing a bunch of tide pools and Camryn loved watching her uncles Kayak.

It was so good to be with everyone, it was just a little too short-thank goodness Christmas is just around the corner.

Reagan-12 Weeks

When my babies turn 3 months old it is like I just gave birth to a new child! If I could give birth to 3 month old babies I would have lots more. Their tummies are mature and they can now be content being awake longer then 2 minutes. She is so smiley and talkative just how I remember Camryn. Everyday I love this little girl more and more. I am the happiest mommy on the block and couldn't be happier that we made it to this point and now would love to freeze time just for a more couple months.

These Days

Camryn is completely obsessed with make-up. I found my old Caboodle and does not let it out of her sight-one morning she had just woken up and came walking in our room half asleep and was carrying it like she had no idea what she was doing. It probably weighs as much as she does. Most of the time she just plays pretend but on nights we are going out and she needs a shower I let her at it. She actually does a pretty good job and says words like you don't want to cake it on and make your lips pop out.

I made these turkey pops with Activity Day girls and let Camryn have mine. She kept giving me hugs and kisses cause she was so excited about this little turkey. Then asked if it was a boy or a girl...everything has to be girly.
Reagan fell asleep fireside during tummy time, too tired to even try.

Camryn needed to be included...obviously.
Second time she has found her thumb. She was happily playing and then I came back in the room to find this. Sound asleep with no fuss or anything. Gotta love those moments since they don't happen very often. Have I mentioned I love my girls?

An Athlete

When I married Ryan, I knew he was not an athlete. Boy has he changed. I now fully consider him an athlete. He probably still doesn't, but I say this qualifies him as such! This guy wakes up everyday at 6 am, packs a bag and heads off to the gym before work. He always talked about those guys and how they were always the successful ones-guess he is on his way!
The ROC race, 5K with fun obstacles
Camp Pendleton Sprint Tri-survived swimming in the ocean
Dirty Dash-10K muddy obstacle course with Greg Stockoff
Most recently his San Diego Century Ride-100 mile bike ride
Lucky for him he got to do it with Mike Cunningham otherwise he would have lost all steam.
So nice to have Lauren, Mike & Liam there at the finish since I didn't make it out!
It is so cool to watch such a transformation in a spouse. I am so glad he has found such a fun hobby and makes him that much more happy. Next up...12K of Christmas & SoCal Ragnar.

Mommy Date

With Ryan out of town and no more naps for this one-we have been doing lots of things to get us out of the house. After a little date at In n' Out we checked out the Irvine Great Park.  It is not even close to being done and will be much cooler in a couple years but they have a few things that are fun right now.
We rode the free Merry-go-Round at least 10 times-each time switching animals. She needed to ride all of them, according to her.
Sadly, I didn't know we needed to call ahead to ride this free huge balloon. So next time we will get to go up! But Camryn had just as much fun running around and just being her sassy self.
This one is blurry but I had to show the sequence of her poses-so funny!
I love my girls and so glad that I am able to spend this time with them in such nice weather  and in a beautiful area.

Halloween

My mom always had a hand mine and my brother and sisters costumes every year. Now with the grandkids it has been the same. This year she outdid herself with this Snow White. It was so spot on. Camryn was obsessed to say the least. I topped it off with this little headband and I think it fully completed the look.
This was the pose she struck before our ward's trunk or treat she took this a little too seriously.
And Snow White's Poison Apple-Reagan. My mom also made this apple beanie-too die for. And Camryn is posing perfect as if she is taking a picture with the kids meeting her at Disneyland.

Then out for trick or treating. Too bad she only wanted to go to a few houses and then was all done. My little home body would rather be passing out candy then getting it herself. Love these girls of mine.

Reagan's Blessing Day

We were lucky enough to have my parents make the long drive from Sacramento for Reagan's Blessing day. So we decided to have a little brunch with our family and friends that were in town before church to celebrate her special day. It turned out so fun and so yummy.
Bacon Egg Cups

Pumpkin Pancakes with Buttermilk Syrup
Ryan did such a great job on her blessing. It is so neat to have your close friends and family bless your baby. One of my favorite ordinances for sure.
Don't mind Camryn's blue mouth-I gave her a blue ring pop to keep her happy during a long sacrament meeting-it was the primary program (I wasn't thinking-obvisiously)
Our sweet baby-2 months old
My mom bought these shoes to go with the dress Camryn wore-to die for! Couldn't love my family anymore on a day like this.
