Punkie Pat

AKA Pumpkin Patch. But that is what she calls it. We got invited by a bunch of families in our new ward to hit up Cafe Rio and a near by Pumpkin Patch, so we thought we come along. Camryn has been asking to go to a Punkie Pat almost everyday since she went with his cousins-so it was her lucky day. However, she hated it once we got there. Of course. But she wanted so badly to on the "fair" type swings. If you know Camryn this is very out of character. So we obliged.
And boy did she love it! She was actually too short for the ride but the worker didn't care. So she just held on real tight and loved every minute of it! Such a big girl.
Checkin out the punkies
She thought she wanted to go on this one too with her friend Scarlet from nursery but she hated this one-that is more like the Camryn I know. Luckily the guy was able to stop it before a complete melt down.
Even if Camryn didn't love it, we had a great time! And yet she is still talking about it and wants to go back. Crazy girl. Happy Halloween!

Sunday Outing

Since we have been in our new place we really haven't been able to take advantage of everything around us. Seems like we are always on the go or it has been raining. So Sunday we took advantage of the weather and checked out the closest beach. Aliso Beach is so pretty who knew it was where everyone went to take family pictures-good thing we remembered our camera too.
We even got to see some tide pools, Camryn loved sticking her fingers in the sea anemone and having them close up.
Thank you beach for being so close. We will be back often.

Rainy Day

Couldn't go outside and needing to get some painting done, so I thought this little one could help....
And she loved it. She just kept saying "thank you mom, thank you mom."
She was so proud of herself for the painting she did and for getting dirty(doesn't happen all that often). So she wanted to show me how messing she got-luckily nothing more than a good bath could take care of.

Camryn's 2nd Birthday Days

My sis Amy headed to Vegas for a girls weekend which allowed me to watch my nephew and niece! What a better way for Camryn to celebrate her birthday then with two of her favorite cousins!
After dropping Amy off at the airport we hit up the SD Zoo. Owen doesn't look amused here but he could have stayed there all day watching the flamingoes.
The children's zoo is amazing-just the right amount of animals and play time.
It was great to wear them out here-just always remember to bring an extra diaper! Let's just say we didn't have one in an emergency and have 3 kids with you in a family bathroom trying to make the old one work some how and resulting in no diaper and buying a 3-pack of probably the first disposable diapers ever made for $9. Lesson learned.
Later that evening after Mike was home to watch Owen & Emma we met Ryan at his parent's house for Grandma Brenda to do her spoiling. Poor Grandpa is in Hong Kong. She got a new baby and the stroller, bed and highchair to go with it! Do you see her sheer joy!
Trying it out and her new pink converse! It is so nice having both grandparents that spoil, which means we don't have to! It was like Christmas!
Then it was off to my favorite for Birthday frozen yogurt.
The next morning these little guys enjoyed pancakes requested by Camryn for her birthday breakfast.
The girls getting ready in the bathroom together. They had to have matching pony tails of course. But Emma's wins! That girl has so much stinkin' hair-I love it and want Camryn's to grow!
Then we headed to the park and mission for some outdoor fun and photo shoots! And the girls traded clothes.
Loved this one of Owen
And this one of Emma! Love her little grin.
She was a little stunned with us all standing around her singing and with the candles lit. Which I don't know why because she makes Ryan & I singing Happy Birthday to her every night before bed so you would think this would have a soothing effect. At least she had her cousins there to help her blow out all the candles!
Enjoying her funfetti cake (which she picked out) this year-very different from the last. And it was so fun spending it her cousin's and her uncle Mike. I had such a good time watching them!
Then it was back to our house for more presents from Mom & Dad! And again with the teeth!
Loving all the bows
So excited about her new cash register!
Showing off her cute new boots and horsey shirt...which she is totally obsessed with! 2 is going to be a fun year! I just love this little squirt!

Quick Trip Home-Not Quick Post

With Camryn turning 2 and the end of free flights for her and a gift card to use I decided to give my parents and other family a visit to Granite Bay.
The night we got there we were looking for more "girl" toys for Camryn to play with and made a huge discovery-all my sister's and I's Barbie's, clothes and furniture, My Little Pony and so many dolls! Hopefully this doesn't offend anyone but Camryn was fine without dressing the Barbies before playing. She set this whole thing up, tablecloth and all on the table. She was in heaven.
My mom had our whole trip planned out-which was perfect because I was up for anything and happy I didn't have to make any decisions. So the next morning we went to the Sacramento temple, which is so nice because it just isn't easy to make it their with a kid in tow.
So my dad happily watch Camryn outside the temple had a "photo shoot"-which I love because I have memories of my dad doing this when I was little. And then they also chased the turkeys on the grounds, which she still talks about.
After we were able to get pedicures, went shopping and had yummy dinner! I was spoiled-well so was Camryn.
Saturday we were able to see my nephew Sean play in his soccer game and my bro Scott coach. Sean was such a good little player-so fun to watch boys get so into it at a young age and not to mention just as much fun watching my brother get so into coaching-hilarious but he does a great job!
Then we headed to Wheatland to Bishop's Pumpkin Patch-which is more like a Pumpkin Farm/Fair-one of the biggest in the nation.
I loved taking pictures in the pumpkin patches.

Ryan's turn...
Then Seany's
And cute little Kyle-he is only 6 months older than Camryn and it was so fun to see more of his personality this visit! What a fun kid!
Riding on the same rocking horse-Ryan's highlight of the day
The Hay Ride. It was a good time for the kids but man my butt hurt and itched after. Those things always sound more fun than they are-but the kids loved it! And I am glad we got my dad in a picture!
Carrie and baby Cade-didn't hear a peep out of him-such a sweet baby, and my brother Scott with Kyle.
Camryn was obsessed with her cousin's-especially Seany which she calls Heany. Which she also calls any boy with blonde hair about his age-obsessed.
My cute mom, poor thing got call on to cheer on our pig at the Pig Races. She was humiliated, but the grandkids loved it! The price you pay for kids enjoyment.
Then since Camryn's B-day was coming up Grandma and Grandpa let her open their gifts to her. For some reason she thought she need to bite each present open. I wonder why-maybe because I bit the tape of each box I packed. Some one was watching.
She had so much fun opening her gifts and she really understood what do and was so genuie about each gift she got. These may have been her favorite or maybe just mine, but when she opened them she yelled "Boots!!!" and then proceeded to dance around in them. Priceless.
Sunday we got to have my Grandma over for dinner and Scott's fam again, I loved being apart of their family dinner they have every Sunday-but am kinda jealous too-good food and good company. Camryn is very interested in babies and especially the diaper changing, if only she would be interested in the potty too.
The cute new little Cade (can you say that many adjectives in one sentence?) and his pretty mommy-so fun to get to meet him for the first time. Thanks mom & dad for such a fun visit and the spoilings. You are the best!
