Since our camera is being fixed we were able to use Scott and Kirby's, which is WAY nicer. Man we need one like theirs!
Scott petting an African Deer. We were so fascinated by this, minus Kirby who wouldn't dare touch them! You can feed them leaves and they are SO nice but extremly scratchy!

Inside the Aviary. Don't worry that this bird ate a hole in Ryan's shirt and then right after this picture was taken the birds freaked out and 20+ birds flew over our heads squawking. I am pretty sure we all got peed on!
This place is so cool because you really are able to see the animals so well and not blocked by huge fences. They have SO much room to roam and makes for great pictures. Each time Camryn saw an animal she says, "Whoa! Wow!" She gets so excited. Too bad we saw all these cool African animals and she still loves flamingoes and ducks the most!
Checking out a jaguar she is getting way too old! She is also back to pulling out her bows again. At least her hair is starting to finally come in though now!
The rest of the weekend went from hanging out at the Romney's beach house in La Jolla right on the beach to a garage sale the next day! Couldn't be more opposite! But I did make $350! Thanks to my MIL who is redoing their house, I got half! Hopefully it wan't too boring for Kirby and Scott since we spent most of the day hanging out and shopping at the outlets. It was so great having these guys in town to watch conference with, laugh a lot and have great conversation! We love them to death and wish they lived closer!

soo fun! i LOve the wild animal park-- probably more than the zoo! And Camryn IS getting so big! She is so pretty!

What a great friend Kirby is to help out with your shoe party and the garage sale! I'm glad you have money to play with. That was the easiest money I've made, supplying the stuff and not having to sell it. Although I'm fortunate to see Camryn often, I'm still amazed when I see her in pictures, she looks so darn old...one year old October 15th! What a beauty!!! I'm proud of you Erica for all of your hard work. I love you!

Erika... can I just give you a shout out from your amazing talent- you have your own company?!? I love it, and love that you are behind it all- congrats. I am currently trying to narrow down which of all the cute shoes I am going to buy. I am so impressed. Congrats on all of this- If you ever want to do a show in Utah, I would be happy to host one.
I love the title to your post-very cute! Sounds like the weekend couldn't have worked out better. Camryn is looking so grown up and way too cute! I love how her hair looks now. There was a cousin that loved "flabingos" too, remember? I bet the backpack worked out great there so Camryn could see everything. Can't wait to see you soon!

Clever title! I meant to call you so much this weekend to hear all about the shoe party but I kept thinking I'd be interrupting friend/confernce stuff. The WAP is amazing! I used to go there for field trips for zoology class. I hope Kirby said "hi" to you guys from me when I talked to her on Friday. I'm jealous all you guys get to spend time together every once in a while. I live so freakin' far away that it's not even a possibility :(

Ryan- That pic with the birds made me laugh. It made me think of Spain and you screaming every time one landed on you. At least parrots seem a lot more sanitary than pigeons
