Valentine's Day & 4 Months Old

I started the weekend out by making these yummy cookies. I hadn't made sugar cookies in a long time and though they took a while to make I had nothing else to do and it was actually really fun. We then headed down to San Diego so I could have a girls night without Camryn.
Me, Mia and Brittany

Britt and I were able to go to dinner beforehand while Mia had a work event but then we met up and saw Confessions of a Shopaholic. It was really cute. Funny but made you nervous the whole time with awkward situations. Definitely one to see with the girls.

On Valentine's Day I woke up to a gift bag with a cute new purse, shirt and Valentine's Day Slippers-the same as yours Carrie! So fun getting presents. Speaking of Carrie, she made Camryn the cutest felt clippies ever. This one was the one she wore for Valentine's Day.
She is so spoiled. Too bad she pooped through this outfit within an hour of wearing it (at least we got a picture, right?)
It had rained a ton the night before but cleared up enough for us to go for a walk at Torrey Pines. It was a little chilly but the views were amazing.

We then met up with Brittany and Mia and had our favorite frozen yogurt!!! Yes, we are a little obssessed I could have it everyday. Both Mia's and Brittany's hubbies were having a "boys weekend" so it was fun getting to hang out so much. We went on yet another walk-something else I could do everyday, walked through a couple home stores and watched Jack run around at the park.

Then it was date time. Ryan let me choose Sushi and he picked the place. We went to Roppongi in La Jolla and it was SO fun! The inside was all booked out so we ate on the patio around this big fire pit the atmosphere was so cool and romantic! We had delicious Sushi and nice alone time.

Afterward we walked over to the Living Room a cute little cafe and had hot chocolate and treats. It was so awesome of Ryan's parents to watch Camryn so we can go out. You really appreciate going out alone once you have a baby. It was such a fun couple of days and so nice getting to hang out with good friends and most of all my hubby.

So fun! I bet it is really nice living so close to family and good friends. Not to mention living close to cool outdoor places. It is so true how much you appreciate a little alone time with the hubby!

Hey - so awesome that you got to enjoy a little alone time! I love Camryn's cute felt clippie too. Your treats look yum - sugar cookies are my favorite!

I could totally take a walk every day too. Did we always have this in common?

so much goodness! Sugar cookies are some of my favs too...and Scott loves it when I make them and I don't mind the process or time...I just don't love the rolling out mess. Yours look very cute. I want one.

You are so lucky to live near good friends! And I totally love walks too. Your spot in torrey pines is CALLING MY NAME! It's gorgeous! I told Scott we need to go down there for some beach time, walks, etc.

The feltie is adorable on her! Yay! Don't you love your new booties!? Cool beans. We are excited to see you in 3 days!

I LOVE her in that video below with you talking about her poop! She must be unbelievably cute because I also think it's adorable that she pooped right through that new outfit with her little Valentines day heart. She's getting so big and so much cuter with each day that goes by!

Your sugar cookies look amazing! And I love Camryn's little heart clip in her hair. She really has the most hair I have ever seen on a baby, how did she get so lucky?! Glad you had a fun night out with the girls. Can't wait to see you, Ryan and Camryn next weekend!

Sounds like such a fun weekend! Cute cookies too! As hard as I try somehow I always manage to destroy sugar cookies with ugly frosting. They don't necessarily taste bad, but they always look horrible! So...nice job!
