Goodbye Cubicle...I Will Miss You!

Please try to not be jealous of me as you read this post...as I know it may be hard for many of you. I officially have 3 days left and 2 of those days are short! I do have to admit my cube looks a lot happier here than normal as my co-workers decorated it for my B-day when this picture was taken. But oh wait...that's right they wouldn't let me finish my last days here...they had to put me in a cubicle less than 1/2 this size with no window since at this point I clearly am just getting in the way!
I am not going to take up your time to tell about all the great things I will miss about this job...as most of you know that would take pages! But I do have to say that the last days are the most trying of all. It is like the people around me are punishing me with their annoying behavior for my soon to be freedom! Now I know motherhood is going to be my new "work" but I will be so grateful to be done with this work! Oh wait did I mention I may work from home a little after 3 months of maternity leave...so maybe I can't say goodbye forever but for now it has been real! I won't be looking back! I may eat my words later, but I think I am meant to stay home.

I am so glad that I got to see a pic of the work site. I wanted to hear the story behind your gmail status about you having to change desks. Thank you blogspot.com!

I love that Ryan is sketched out enough to make a comment...just in case, ya know?!!! Your cubicle looks prettier than my cubicle ever did. Any surprise?!!! I can't believe you have only 16 days to go until your little girl is born! I am truly, sincerely, so excited. I can't wait for her to arrive.

Your cube does look so happy! I love how perfect and organized you are. You're going to be that kind of mom too - and then I might have to throw up! :) I'm so excited for you - 16 days and counting!! I think you were meant to stay home too (it rocks!) but hope it might work out to work from home too (if you want it to). I love you sooo much!

Can I be in the delivery room with you - you know just to be there with Ryan and hang out and stuff? That's not weird is it...?

I hear you loud and clear. I'm counting down and I still have 3 more months! I like what Nikki said about you being an organized mom and wanting to throw up! You'll be such a cute stay at home mama! Try and enjoy these last days of freedom as much as you can.

I was one of those trying not to be jealous that you don't have to go to work for a spell. But wait, I'll get a break when baby comes and then I can come! Yeah-can't wait!

To answer your question...I am getting induced on Monday at 8am unless I go before then but I doubt it because I was 3 days late with Crew. So I will keep you posted. What your plan? If you go over your due date will your dr. induce you?? Keep me posted and Good luck with everything.

I am so jealous that you are now done working. I will give anything, well almost, because I clearly am not pregnant yet. I hope your last week goes well. Good luck with the delivery and let us know when she comes.

There's nothing quite like the last day of work. Luckily, Ethan came 2 days after my last day at work, so I didn't get bored just hanging out at home. It flies way too fast, and now I'm back working part-time. I miss those lazy days at home now!

PS. My name is spelled Amands on your link :)
